The Drawer
In this video, we will learn how to use the Drawer.
The Drawer, hidden on the left side of the website, slides out to enable the quick filtering and selection of Carriers and other Criteria. The Drawer is available on all pages of T4.
The Drawer controls the data displayed on the Dashboard and dictates the actions of searches on the following pages: Nominations, Schedules, Product Transfer Orders, and Tickets.
To access the Drawer, Click on the (Red) Tab
My Search Preferences will set the default Search Preferences throughout the application.
*New Basic Search is the default Search Preference.
The most common Search Preferences are the Drawer & Dashboard and New Basic Search.
*New Basic Search allows you to search for anything you have access to and is a clean slate. Drawer & Dashboard will show you the Top 100 Results and dictate what you see on the Dashboard as well as many of our other Search Screens.
You can choose to see data on a specific Carrier or on all Carriers.
The Carrier you select here is what is shown on the Dashboard. This also tells you what Pipeline Access you have.
My Other Criteria will allow you to filter results based on Company, Location, and/or Product Type.
*Adding other Criteria such as Company will filter out what happens in the Dashboard.
Select Location, enter the Location code, and click Add.
If you are not sure of what the Company, Location, or Product Type Code is, simply go to the Cogwheel and Click Look Up Codes to find the Code.
Select from the drop-down the type of Code you are Searching for.
In this case, we are Searching for a Location Code.
Select the Carrier
You can Sort your Codes by Code or Descriptions.
You can see the Location Code (ATJ) that we added under My Other Criteria.
Select the time period the movemetns are taking place.
Now the Dashboard only shows the movements with the Location ATJ (Atlanta Junction) for the Prior Month.
Add pages that you often use by clicking on the Star icon on the page.
Simply go to the page that you want to Favorite and click on the Star icon.
*Filter and search criteria are not saved, only the page location is saved.
Notice the Tickets Page is under your Favorites now.
Saved Searches provide you with quick access to Searches that you perform regularly.
Save a Search by clicking on the Disk icon. Search Criteria are Saved and appears under Saved Searches in the Drawer.
Enter a Name for your Saved Search.
Notice that Saved Search now appears under the Saved Searches section.
