T4 Dashboard
The new T4 Dashboard is a customizable, multi-dashboard workspace that lets you build, organize, and share operational views using widgets. Widgets let you surface snapshots of data (tables/grids) and visualizations (charts) so you can see the information you need at a glance without navigating away. The new experience replaces the old single dashboard and supports multiple dashboards for different workflows or teams.
1 — Welcome / Welcome Tour panel
This panel is the Welcome Tour, which is the default content on the Welcome Dashboard. It highlights the key Dashboard actions you should explore initially: Add Widgets, Drag & Drop, Resize Widgets, Share Widgets, and create Multiple Dashboards. If you’re new, this page is designed to guide you through the basic workflow and showcase the types of widgets and layouts you can create.
2 — Dashboard tabs (example: Welcome Dashboard / Default Searches)
These are your dashboard tabs. Each tab represents a distinct dashboard (for example: Welcome Dashboard, Default Searches). Click on a tab to open the corresponding dashboard. The tabs display the name of the dashboard along with a three-dot menu for dashboard-level actions such as renaming, duplicating, deleting, and more. The release includes a Default Searches Dashboard to facilitate the initial setup of your layouts, as well as a Migrated Dashboard where your previously saved widgets are located following the upgrade.
3 — “+” (create a new dashboard)
Click the small + tab located to the right of the existing tabs to create a new dashboard. This procedure allows for the creation of separate dashboards for daily operations, exceptions, reconciliation, or any other workflow. The user interface supports the creation of multiple dashboards to accommodate different workflows.
4 — Add widget (top-right plus button)
Click the circular + icon to Add Widget to the currently open dashboard. The Add Widget process utilizes saved searches (or default searches) to enable rapid widget creation. The typical steps following the selection of the Add control are as follows:
- Select a saved search (or a default system search).
- Choose either the Data or the Visualization widget type.
- For data widgets, please select the columns (if available). For visualization widgets, access the configuration to specify the metric, aggregation, and time range.
- Position and resize the widget on the dashboard. Widgets are saved automatically.
5 — Widget Shares (Pending / History)
The envelope icon located at the top-right corner opens the Widget Shares dialog, which serves as the repository for widgets shared with you by other users. This dialog includes two tabs:
- Pending — widgets that have been shared with you and require your attention.
- History — a log of all widgets previously shared with you, including those accepted, declined, or viewed.
6 — Configure Columns (top-right grid icon)
The Column Configuration icon lets you choose which columns appear in the Nominations, Schedules or Tickets widget. It shows side-by-side panels with a scrollable list of available columns and a checkbox for each.
