Setting Up a Push (Data-Driven Push)
Today we will cover how to set up a Push.
There are 2 types of Pushes you can set up. Data-Driven or Periodic Pushes.
A Periodic Push allows you to save an inquiry and have it emailed and/or faxed to you periodically throughout the day.
A Data-Driven Push is emailed and/or faxed to you as the data changes or is added to the user’s specific Push criteria.
Today we will cover Data-Driven Pushes. We will cover Periodic Pushes in another video.
To access your Pushes and set up a Data-Driven Push, you can access the cogwheel icon from any screen in T4.
Simply click on Auto Reports/Push Options.
This is the Push Configuration screen. Any option you have here can be set up as a Push.
This account has no Pushes set up as indicated by the zero next to the Push name.
Let’s start with a Ticket Push. Click to add a Ticket Push.
These are your Ticket Push types.
By default, all locations, carriers, companies, and all filter criteria are selected. To refine the filter criteria, there are 2 steps to doing this. First, you must pick the carrier and then choose the filters that apply.
Further refine the filter criteria by selecting the Ticket Type, Company, Location, Tankage, and Product.
Add a Push name to provide a title to the push.
Enable/Disable the Push.
This is where you will add the email recipients or distribution list. Please note that email addresses in the drop-down are associated with your account.
If the email you want to add is not associated with your account, click on Add Recipient to add their email address.
Reminder: Any email address that you provide will be sent data from your account.
Please choose your email addresses carefully.
Click anywhere on the Push bar to view the Push setup.
You can click on the dropdown arrow to edit the Push or add/edit Push email addresses.
