Carrier Contact Roles
Carrier Contact roles for Colonial (CPL) and Colonial Terminal Logistics (CTL) can now be assigned to multiple emails and can differ by topic.
Below is a diagram going over the Role Name as well as the Document that should be sent to each Role.
Add/Edit Carrier Contact Role
Adding or Editing Colonial Carrier Contact Roles can only be done with an Administrator account. Your companies Primary Company Administrator(PCA) or Company Administrator(COA) will have this kind of access. To find your companies COA, please select the Footer which is located at the bottom of the home page.
Step 1: To Add/Edit Colonial Carrier Contact Roles, click on the cog wheel and select User Configuration.
Step 2: Select Add/Edit Carrier Contact Role.
Step 3: Choose Carrier (CPL or CTL) and then click on the Available Roles and move to Assigned Roles by using the red arrows.
Step 4: If you need to add more than (1) email address to a specific Role, you will first need to add the email addresses under the Contact Information header. Contact Information is located in the cog wheel.
* A users email must be added to the Contact Information Email Addresses for it to populate in the Carrier Contact Roles
Step 5: To add or remove additional emails to a specific role, select Edit under the Edit Email header and choose the desired emails.
