How-To Guide: Migration to Auth0 with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
This guide walks you through the complete process for migrating your Transport4 account to Auth0 and setting up secure login using a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) app.
π¨ Step 1: Check Your Email from Transport4
You will receive an email from:
From:noreply@transport4.com
Subject:Set Initial Password
Example Email:
Look for the "Set Initial Password" URL in the body of the email.
π Step 2: Click on the "Set Initial Password" Link
Click the "Confirm" button or link in the email. This will take you to the Auth0-hosted password setup screen.
π Step 3: Create Your New Password
On the Auth0 screen:
Enter your new password
Confirm the password
Click Submit
β Choose a strong and unique password you haven't used before.
π± Step 4: Set Up MFA Using Authenticator App
After setting your password, you'll be prompted to configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Use Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator:
Open your Authenticator app
Tap Add account > Scan QR code
Scan the QR code displayed on the screen
Example QR Code Setup:
Microsoft Authenticator
Open Add Account in Microsoft Authenticator, and choose Work or School Account

Add Manual Code and URL
Google Authenticator
Open Google Authenticator and click "Add a code" or the Plus (+) sign
Choose which option to add T4 Auth0 MFA
Scan QR Code (Note: not actual QR Code, only representation)
Add Manual Account Name and Key
π Step 5: Enter MFA Code and Complete Setup
Enter the 6-digit code generated in your Authenticator app
Submit the code
Click βContinue.β
Once accepted, your MFA is now active.
β Step 6: Successful Login
You will now be logged into your Transport4 dashboard securely.
